DAY 1 Departure
Arrival in Tokyo. Travellers are expected to reach airport by 1 PM. Our executive will meet you at the airport. From Narita airport, take a fast train to Shinjuku station. Around 3 PM check in at the hostel/homestays (around 1km walk from station which will also help you shred any additional fats😊) Note: walking is considered to be the best mode of travel in Japan for shorter distances (check in time 3 PM). In the evening explore the streets and culture around Shinjuku and try some luck in Pachinko (popular recreational gaming in Japan).
DAY 2 Tokyo City Tour
After breakfast, start your city tour around 8:30 AM to check out the iconic places and popular attractions which Tokyo has to offer. Visit Chidorigafuchi Park. Then see other popular spots in Tokyo including Tokyo Tower, an Eiffel Tower inspired lattice tower, Akasaka Kannon Temple, it is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa and one of most colourful and popular temples, Nakamise street (enjoy Tokyo’s street food at Nakamise, the traditional shopping street, Meiji Jingu Shrine, dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. After that we proceed for Harajuku, Shibuya the focal point of Harajuku's teenage culture is Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street) and its side streets. Enjoy dinner at Indian restaurant. Proceed to hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 3 Mount Fuji
This day get ready for an excursion to Mount Fuji. Mt Fuji is an active volcano about 100 kilometres southwest of Tokyo and is declared a UNESCO heritage site. Early morning after breakfast, take a SIC tour to Mt Fuji. The journey from Tokyo Hotel to Mt Fuji will take about 2 hours. Upon arrival to Mt Fuji (subject to weather conditions) start with Fuji Visitor Centre, Mt Fuji 5th station, and Lake Ashi Cruise. Enjoy lunch – Japanese style (veg/non-veg). After lunch enjoy Mt Komagatake Ropeway. Return to your place of stay in Tokyo. Overnight in Tokyo.
DAY 4 Disney Sea Tour
Early morning travel to Disney by train. Embrace the worlds of fantasy and experience a sense of pure joy and wonder in Disney Sea, an incredible theme park inspired by the myths and legends of the sea. Your tour to Japan is incomplete without it. In the evening, return to place of stay in Tokyo. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
DAY 5 Tokyo to Kyoto
The best way to travel between Tokyo and Kyoto is the Shinkansen (bullet train). Early morning after breakfast around 9 AM, take a bullet train to Kyoto. After reaching Kyoto, which will take around 2h, visit the famous Philosopher park, a pedestrian path that follows a cherry-tree-lined canal in Kyoto and very famous path, the stretch has many small temples, boutiques, cafes. Make a small detour along the way to visit the famous Kinkaku-Ji temple, the famed golden pavilion and a zen Buddhist temple, one of the most iconic sites, covered in glittering gold leaf and the Ginkaku-ji temple (the temple of the silver pavilion). In the evening head to your hostel/homestay in Kyoto. Overnight stay.
DAY 6 Kyoto - Kimono Special
This day live like a local. After breakfast, get ready for some cool Instagram pics at the Arashiyama bamboo forest, designated as place of scenic beauty with thicket of bamboo trees and trail. Walk the Japanese style wearing the popular local traditional wear in Japan - Kimonos. All transfers by local train/bus. Overnight stay at Kyoto.
❀ For those who want to get up early morning, we can arrange a zen mediation session which Japanese usually practice in their daily lives. During the session, practice zen mediation and devote time in mindfulness.
DAY 7 Day Trip to Nara Park
Oh Deer... This day, get ready for a day trip to Nara. Nara in Japan is famous for its population of wild deer that roam freely around its sprawling park. It takes 45 minutes by train to reach Nara from Kyoto and there are multiple trains to choose from. Early morning after breakfast, take a train ride to Nara. On reaching, visit the Nara Park and indulge in feeding the deer. They will not hesitate to look to you for crackers. Later, visit the great statue of Buddha in Todaiji temple. Back to Kyoto in the evening. Overnight stay in Kyoto.
DAY 8 Kyoto - Osaka (Universal Studio and Doremon Street)
This day do the excursion to the popular Universal Studio. Home to the internationally-acclaimed Wizarding World of Harry Potter and other exciting attractions with theme parks. If you are a rollercoaster lover or a Harry Potter fan or love for Minions, there is something for everyone. Early morning after breakfast, take a train ride to Osaka, it will take around 1h to reach. Spend the whole day witnessing the magical secrets of the place and indulge in entertainment rides. Evening spend time in popular Doremon street. Overnight stay in hostel/homestay in Osaka.
DAY 9 Osaka City Tour
This day, visit the Osaka Castle which is one of the most iconic buildings in Osaka famous for its role in the unification of Japan during the Samurai Era. Osaka castle & popular Tsutenkaku Tower, also called the Eiffel tower of Osaka, there is an observatory with a full view of the city. Overnight stay in Osaka.
DAY 10 Return
Return to your home town with amazing memories of the trip. Traveller has an option to extend the trip if they wish to. Train pass will be given to the travellers to reach the airport (travellers have a choice to choose their flight times for return as per their convenience).
