Day 1 Jhansi - Orchha
Arrival at Jhansi and transfer to Orchha (around 30mins drive). A small and peaceful town situated on the bank of Betwa river. Orchha was founded by Bundela chief Rudrapratap in 1501 AD. Orchha is a tiny farming town dotted with historical sites. The fort complex is a great place to visit, hit this first to obtain an all-day ticket good for all the sights in Orchha. Divided into 3 parts, it consists of Raj Mahal: situated to the right of the quadrangle, this palace was built in the 17th century by Madhukar Shah. Jehangir Mahal: built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in the 17th century to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha. Parveen Mahal: poetess and musician, Rai Parveen was the beautiful paramour of Raja Indramani (1672- 76) and was sent to Delhi on the orders of Emperor Akbar. After sightseeing in the fort, visit Ram Raja temple, Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxminarayan Temple, Phool Bagh, Sunder Mahal and Cenotaphs. There are 14 Chhatris or memorials to the rulers of Orchha, grouped along the Kanchan Ghat of the river Betwa on the south end of town. You can climb up to the roof for views of the river. Day 2 Orchha to Khajuraho
Khajuraho is one of the most famous place among Indian and foreigner tourist. From Orchha it will take us around 5 hours to reach. In Khajuraho you will see temples built by the Chandela rulers during 950 – 1050 AD. Today will visit local Khajuraho. You will see western group of temples. Among the western group of temples, the most famous temples are Kandariya Mahadev, Lakshmana temple, Devi Jugdamba, Chitragupta temple, Vishwanath temple and Matengshwara temple. After sightseeing, have rest in a hotel. Evening time you have to see the beautiful light & sound show, which is organized by Madhya Pradesh Tourism. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Khajuraho - Jhansi
After breakfast transfer to Khajuraho airport or railway station for your journey to onward destination. Here tour ends with happy memories.

Customization of the tour can be done for solo, family or group travel. The tour cost per person mentioned is on the basis of a minimum of 2 travelers. If traveling solo, the cost will be adjusted accordingly.
Prices will vary in the peak season (15th December - 15th January).

Cancellations up to 30 days prior to departure date - 5% deduction.
Between 30 days to 7 days prior to departure - 50% deduction.
Less than 7 days of departure - no refund.
If a tour is canceled by Wovoyage for any reason, a 100% refund will be given.
