How a simple idea became a movement
Wovoyage was born from a simple belief: every woman deserves to explore the world freely and safely. What started as a passion project to help women travel without fear has grown into a community of adventurous souls who explore new cultures, push their boundaries, and form lifelong bonds along the way.
We noticed that many women wanted to travel but hesitated - worried about safety, overwhelmed by planning, or simply lacking a travel companion. Wovoyage was created to remove every barrier between a woman and her dream trip.

Is Wovoyage safe for solo women travellers?
Yes. Wovoyage is a women-led travel company founded in 2016 and based in Gurugram, India. Every women-only departure travels with a female trip leader, uses stays the team has vetted, and comes with 24/7 on-trip support. Most travellers join alone and share a twin room with another woman from the group.
What is the group size on a Wovoyage trip?
Wovoyage groups are small on purpose: typically 8 to 15 travellers and never more than 20, so you get to know the group and the trip leader has time for everyone.
Can I join a trip alone, and who will I share a room with?
Yes, most Wovoyage travellers join alone. Twin-sharing with another woman from the group is the default and costs nothing extra; a private room is available on most trips for a supplement shown on the tour page.
What kinds of trips does Wovoyage run?
