KAMAKHYA TEMPLE



Sitting atop the Nilachal Hill in the city of Guwahati. Dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya "The bleeding Goddess". Over a million people visit this temple every year.



KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK



It is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites of India and most popular for the Great Indian one-horned Rhinoceros. The park is known for its good population of animals but more than that its the wildlife conservation initiatives that take place in the park are more popular.



MANAS NATIONAL PARK



Another UNESCO Natural World Heritage site in Assam is Manas national park, also a Project Tiger reserve, an elephant reserve, and a biosphere reserve. It is home to several rare and endangered species.



MAJULI ISLAND



The biggest river island in the world, Majuli is located on the river Brahmaputra in Assam. the culture of Majuli is unique and quite interesting and is one of the key reasons why people love this place so much.



SIVASAGAR



This historical city of Assam is located in the upper ranges of Assam. Earlier Sivasagar was the capital of the mighty Ahoms. So it is popular Ahom monuments and palaces which are a work of excellence.



NAMERI NATIONAL PARK



Situated at the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur district of Assam. The national park is home to the endangered White-winged wood duck and a substantial population of elephants. You can also enjoy some activities in the park which include white water rafting and fishing.



HAFLONG



Haflong is the only hill station of Assam, with lush green beauty, scenic views, and mist-covered hills make it a popular tourist destination in Assam.



SUALKUCHI



the weavers' village of Sualkuchi is popularly called the center of Assam's textiles. It has been declared as a Handloom Heritage Village. When you visit Assam you can't leave without the "Mekhela chador" or the "gamosa" ,and where else do you think you will find the best "mekhela chador and gamosas"?



BRAHMAPUTRA



Now you can also go river cruising in this mighty river and experience the adventurous yet peaceful journey. And who knows, you might get lucky to spot the endangered Gangetic dolphin ;)
