01
Arrive at Almaty International Airport, where a local representative will welcome you and arrange a private transfer to your hotel. Check in and take time to relax and acclimatise to the city’s altitude and climate. In the evening, enjoy an optional stroll around nearby areas, exploring local cafés and shops. Overnight stay in Almaty.

02
After breakfast, begin your Almaty city tour with a visit to Panfilov Park, home to the beautiful wooden Zenkov Cathedral. Pay your respects at the Memorial of Glory and explore Independence Square, an important landmark of Kazakhstan’s modern history. Later, take a scenic cable car ride to Kok Tobe Hill for panoramic views of Almaty, photography opportunities and a relaxing sunset experience. Overnight stay in Almaty.

03
After breakfast, visit Medeo Ice Rink, renowned for its high-altitude setting and impressive alpine surroundings. Continue to Shymbulak Mountain Resort, where you can enjoy mountain views, a scenic cable car ride, photography, short hikes and time in the fresh mountain air. On your return, stroll along Arbat Street, a pedestrian area lined with boutique cafés and local craft shops, with time for relaxed shopping. Spend the evening at leisure, sampling local cuisine or unwinding at your hotel. Overnight stay in Almaty.

04
Set out early for a full day exploring Kazakhstan’s natural landscapes. Visit Charyn Canyon, known as the Grand Canyon of Kazakhstan, and admire its dramatic red cliffs and distinctive rock formations. Continue to Kolsay Lakes, often called the Pearls of the Northern Tien Shan, where you can enjoy peaceful walks along crystal-clear alpine lakes surrounded by forests and mountain peaks. Check in to your cottage-style accommodation near the lakes and spend the evening relaxing by the water, taking photographs or enjoying a gentle lakeside walk. Overnight stay in Kolsay.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your accommodation. Transfer to Almaty International Airport for your onward journey, bringing your Kazakhstan adventure to a close.
