Discover Georgia this Christmas on a 7-day women-only Georgia tour covering Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Jvari, Gudauri, Kazbegi and Kakheti. Explore the historic streets of Tbilisi, visit Mtskheta and its iconic landmarks, travel along the scenic Georgian Military Highway, see Ananuri Fortress and Zhinvali Water Reservoir, experience Gudauri and Kazbegi, and take a 4x4 ride to the famous Gergeti Trinity Church surrounded by dramatic Caucasus Mountain views.

This Georgia Christmas tour also takes you to Kakheti for wine tasting, Bodbe Monastery and the charming town of Sighnaghi, along with Christmas pop-up visits, shopping and leisure time in Tbilisi. Itinerary

7 Days Day-by-day plan
Day 01
ARRIVAL AT TBILISI
Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in and freshening up. Enjoy leisure time and, in the evening, explore the charming Old Tbilisi Town at your own expense before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Notes
  • Check-in is not until 15:00 hrs.
  • Arrive at the Tblisi Airport before 12:30 PM
  • Airport pick-up will be arranged around 1:30 PM.
  • If you do not want to wait at the airport, then you may use BOLT TAXI to reach the hotel (It costs 30-35 GEL).
  • The trip leader will not accompany you for leisure time.
Day 02
MTSKHETA-JVARI- CHRONICAL OF GEORGIA - TBILISI CITY TOUR
After breakfast, visit Mtskheta, the ancient city of Georgia, followed by Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Continue to the Chronicles of Georgia before exploring Tbilisi Old Town, including Holy Trinity Church, Metekhi Church, the Sharpen area, Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica and the Clock Tower if time permits. Cross the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park and take the cable car to Narikala Fortress to see the Mother of Georgia statue.
Day 03
ANANURI-GUDAURI-KAZBEGI
After breakfast and check-out, travel along the scenic Georgian Military Highway. Visit Zhinvali Water Reservoir and the Ananuri Fortress Complex before continuing to Gudauri and the Friendship Monument for panoramic Caucasus Mountain views. Proceed to Kazbegi and take a four-wheel-drive ride to Gergeti Trinity Church, then return to Gudauri for your hotel stay.
Day 04
BACK TO TBILISI AND LEISURE TIME (YOU CAN GO SULPHUR BATHING)
Enjoy breakfast before travelling back from Kazbegi to Tbilisi, reaching the city in the late afternoon. After hotel check-in and rest, spend the evening at leisure with options to enjoy a sulphur bath, café hopping, or shopping.
Day 05
SIGHNAGHI - BODBE - KAKHETI
After breakfast, head to the Kakheti region for a wine-tasting experience at KTW Factory. Continue to St. Nino Monastery in Bodbe, also known as Bodbe Monastery, and then explore Sighnaghi Town, known as the City of Love. Return to Tbilisi for the overnight stay.
Day 06
HALF DAY CHRISTMAS POP-UP VISITS AND LEISURE TIME FOR SHOPPING
After breakfast, visit nearby Christmas pop-ups taking place across the city. Later, enjoy leisure time for shopping at various locations in Tbilisi and experience the city’s nightlife. Christmas pop-up locations are subject to schedules and may be changed or replaced with alternative locations.

  • The christmas pops are subject to schedules and can be changed at the last moment and this is out of our controll. If the markets are not opened by then, we will visit alternative locations. Be flexible and open to changes in the itinerary.
Day 07
DEPARTURE TO THE AIRPORT
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before check-out and transfer to the airport for your return flight to India, bringing the Georgia journey to an end.

  • Book your flights after 4:30 PM.
  • If you are booking any flight which doesn’t match our drop-off schedule then you will have to manage on own.

Yes. Wovoyage is a women-led travel company founded in 2016 and based in Gurugram, India. Every women-only departure to Georgia travels with a female trip leader, uses stays the team has vetted, and comes with 24/7 on-trip support. Most travellers join alone and share a twin room with another woman from the group.

We don’t have any age policy. We have had 22-year-olds gel fantastically with 65-year-olds. As long as you are fit to travel (get on flights, moderate walking) there is no restriction from our side.
A single group pickup will be arranged; therefore, we recommend booking your flights only after consulting with us. Please note that individual pickups will not be provided in case of early or late arrivals outside the designated schedule. Please cooperate with us on this.
Once we receive your confirmation, we’ll share a detailed document to help you prepare for the trip in a few days. A dedicated WhatsApp group will also be created 2 to 4 days before departure for seamless coordination.
Most Wovoyage travellers join solo. With double sharing, we pair you with another traveller from your group. If you would like your own space, choose a Private Room while booking (where available).
Cancellation terms depend on how close to departure you cancel - the full schedule is on our Cancellation Policy page. If a trip is cancelled due to unforeseen events (natural calamities, strikes or similar), the amount paid is refunded as transferable travel credits.
